This is my husband Mark and me at our home in Villebois, Wilsonville, Oregon. (I may be a good photographer but I have not mastered selfies and can never figure out where to look. )
After living in Bakersfield, California for 40 years and raising our three daughters there, the heat finally got to us, so we moved to Wilsonville. Bakersfield is a wonderful city, but I think the high temperatures are harder to endure the older we get, and we are lucky to be able to relocate. Oregon has so many new opportunities and so much to explore! We haven’t been outside this much in decades.
