I have a facebook account, a twitter account, email, a phone from which I can access all of those things, and now a blog. So the big question is – what do I have to say that merits all these forms of communication? The main thing I’m interested in is the web page which will be completed soon. Then you can all (all my readers, which at this point means no one) can look at my photography and art and maybe buy something! Perhaps I’ll finally be able to pay for what I create. I’ll post a photo here of my latest collage.
It’s from the Altered Landscapes Series and the base image – the angel – is a photo I took in Caliente, a small town outside of Bakersfield, and the collage materials are from vintage fruit crate labels. What is the message? It’s in the eye of the beholder. What do you think?

I would love reading a blog. i’m getting quite bored with Facebook nonsense chatter. My head spins most of the time and this would be refreshing and fun!
Ummm… If I’m not mistaken, that’s St. Michael the Archangel and I’m not sure I like the idea of you fruiting him up. Especially not with Oranges and Yellows. He’s more Blues and Lavender and Aqua and ummm…Purpinkle.

Yes, I do believe it is St. Michael the Archangel. And darn it, I was out of purpinkle fruit labels. Maybe I’ll do a matching collage in purpinkle. But lavender – that’s a pretty special color.
